サーファーズパラダイス

そー言えば、先週末サーファーズパラダイスで一泊して来た。

Actually last weekend, we stayed over in surfers Paradise for a night. 

エスプラネード通りにあるChateau Beachside

ってとこ。

It called Chateau Beachside where is located on Esplanade st. 

海の目の前で綺麗だった。

It was right in front of ocean and so beautiful.

部屋は、まー中の下。

Rooms were just ok. 4.5 out of 10.

チェックインした時は雨が降っていたのだが、直ぐに止んで虹が出た。

It was raining when we checked in, but the rain didn’t last long and soon as rain stoped, the rainbow occurred.

スピリチュアルな人達にとって虹は、物事を後押ししてくれる前兆らしい。

For those spiritual people, the rainbow is a big sign of ailment. 

波はあったけど、サーフィンの板は持って行かなかったから、海は入りませんでした。

Surf was just ok but I didn’t get into the water because I didn’t bring my surfboard. 

なので、町をブラブラとしてました。

So we were walking around in town.

個人的な意見ですが、サーファーズパラダイスは、なんかピンとこない。

It’s just my opinion, this town don’t feel like mine.

観光客がいっぱいな故、日本人やら中国人向けのお土産屋さんだらけ。

A lots of tourists come here so there are a lots of souvenir shops for Japanese or Chinese.

店に入ると、現地在住日本人が日本人観光客に商売してる。

Once you are in a shop, A Japanese staff who lives in there is trying sell something for Japanese tourists.

特に近年は、中国人観光客がいっぱいいるので、中国人向けのお店が目立つ。

Especially these day, there are a lots of Chinese tourists I notice, so there are a lots of shops for Chinese people as well.

お土産屋さんは、コアラの人形やらカンガルーのオモチャ多分中国で作られたであろう物を、中国人に売りつける。滑稽な光景だ。

Shops has some of koala dolls or kangaroo toys which probably made in China and they are trying to sell them to Chinese people. It’s ironic.

ご飯屋さんも、高いかファーストフード系かで、中程度のお店があまり無い。

There are not many choice for some kind of affordable restaurant, it’s always like fast food or high end restaurant.

そして、高いとこ行ってもまーそこそこの味でサービスもあまり良くない。

Even if you go to a nice restaurant, it’s often the tast is just average and the service is not good.

軽くぼったくられた感がある。

I just feel like it’s a rip off.

あくまで、俺個人の意見だけど。

I’m just saying it’s my opinion though.
