今週はずっと雨が降ってます。
It’s been raining this week.
なので、昨日は休みになりました。
So I had day off yesterday.
朝ボスからメールで、雨だから今日は仕事休むと。
My boss massages me *Day off today rainy day. *
なので、そのまま二度寝。
So I slept in.
いつもより遅めに起きて、色々と家の事やってやっとこ11時頃出発。
I woke up a bit late than usual and wrapped up all the house holds, then finally left my house just past 11am.
結構風が入っていたので、風を交わすポイントへ直行。
It was pretty windy so I went straight to the point break where it’s protected.
最近のお気に入りポイント。
My favorite surf point these day.
キラです。
Kirra.
平日は特に空いていて、ピークに4、5人で、その裏で又4、5人。そして更に裏に2、3人。
Especially weekdays are uncrowded, there were 4,5guys at the peek, and another 4,5guys behind of the peek, and 2,3guys at the last line up.
波がそこそこある時は皆んなディバーとかスナッパー、グリマンに行っちゃてキラが空いてて何気にいい。
When surf is pumping everyone goes to those famous point like D’bar, snapper or green mount, it’s actually good at kirra and not busy.
人が少ない分俺でも波取れるって言う。
It’s actually more chance to catch more waves even me.
結構楽しみました。
I had a lots of fun.
鳥。
今住んでる所がかなり調子いい。
It’s pretty amazing where we live now.
近くのそこそこ大きな町まで20分位だし、海まで車で5分位。
It’s only 20min to a town(big enough for general requirements), only 5min drive to nearest beach.
森も海も両方楽しめる。
I enjoy both bush and ocean,
家でまったり。

この後もう一羽来てなんか家に入ろうとしてた。
Soon after an another lorikeet came too, then he tried to get into my house.
色んな鳥さん来ます。
A lot of kind of birds comes.
結構ピースです。
It’s pretty peaceful here.
でも、なんか人間が開拓した所にいる鳥はなんかピースじゃない気がする。
I just feel like the birds that they lives in town is not very peaceful.
ちょっと前にもウッドバーンってとこで軽食プラス休憩で車止めたんだ。
We stopped at Woodburn for snacks and little brake.
丁度大きな木の下に。
I parked my car under the tree.
ほんの15分位。
It was only 15min.
帰って来たらビックリ。
It was shocking that I saw my car.
鳥のフンだらけでした
My car was fully covered by birds poo.
ちょっとヤバ目。
It was gross.
なので、鳥の糞には気をつけてください。
So please be careful for the birds poo.
夕方以降のかッカトゥ要注意。
Watch out for cockatoo after dusk.
冬眠 hibernation
最近ブログサボってました。
I’ve been lazy for my blog lately.
なんか秋の気候が俺を怠けモードにしてしまう。
Well, I think autum weather makes me lazy.
ここんとこ仕事忙しいし、家帰ると疲れて直ぐ眠気に襲われる。
It’s been busy at my work so I feel very tired and sleepy when I get back home.
ところで、気候がちょっと変だ。
By the way, climate is a bit weird.
去年丁度今くらいに日本から帰ってきたんだけど、そん時着いて直ぐ寒いって思ったんだ。
When I came back from japan this time last year, and I felt chilly soon as I arrived.
一昨日なんか27℃だったし。
It was 27℃ A day before yesterday.
暦の上ではもうすぐ冬です。
It’s winter soon.
やっと昨日の夜とか今日の朝は寒くなってきたけど。
Finally it was quite chilly last night and this morning though.
水温もまだ温かいし。
Water temperature is still warm.
季節が反対な日本ではもう猛暑とか。
Japan has an extremely hot day already.
地球温暖化なのかな？
It’s probably gobal warming.
ところで、蛇が玄関の前に出た。
By the way, a snake was at the front door.
赤ちゃんパイソン。
A baby python.
木の枝かと思ったら蛇だった。
I thought a wooden stick but it was a snake.
危うく踏むところだった。
I nearly stepped on it.
もうこの季節は冬眠してていいと思うけど。
I thought snake should’ve been into hibernation this time every year.
蛇大の苦手。
I hate snakes.
でも、食物連鎖のお陰でネズミやら他の蛇やらを追い払ってくれる事も分かった。
But I now understand that snakes keep rats or mice even other kind of snake away. It’s part of food chain.
そんで、パイソンは性格の穏やかな蛇らしいし、毒も無い。
Also python is quite gentle and non venomous species.
間違って踏んだりしなければいい奴
If you accidentally approached it they could be aggressive otherwise they are harmless.
私達人間も動物も同じ地球に行きているのです。
Even human or animals we all live in this earth.
互いに共存していきたいものです。
I hope We all respect each other.
Gecko
新しい家には、ゲッコーが結構住んでる。
There are lots of geckos in our new house.
そこそこの森林の中の家なので、虫やゴキブリも結構います。
Because it’s quite a bushy place where we live so there are lots of insects and cockroaches as well.
害虫駆除用の薬も撒いたので、今はそんなにですが、でもたまにゴキブリ出ます。
We sprayed cockroach repellent so it’s not too much but still we see them sometimes.
ゲッコー結構いい奴。
Geckos are sweet.
ゲッコーが虫やらゴキブリやらをやっつけてくれるので、助かります。
It’s quite cool that geckos eats insects and cockroaches.
食物連鎖の一部ですね。
It’s a part of food chain.
ゲッコー結構好き。
I quite like geckos.
早起きは三文の得
引っ越で、最近ずっと寝不足。
We had lack of sleep last few days because of moving.
いい物件見つけたから、申し込んでみた。
We found a beautiful renting property so we applied for it.
そしたら、何の問題もなく借りれた。
Then we got the place without any drama.
2年前は、申し込む度に選ばれず、やっと前の家に落ち着いた。
We applied lots of properties 2years ago but it’s all refused.
finally we could settle down to our previous place.
なんだか不思議だ。
It’s bizarre.
そんなこんなで、物を箱に詰めて、積んで、運んで、下ろして、ってな作業を車プラストレイラーで5、6回繰り返して。
Anyway, we had to pack all the stuff, loading, driving to new house and unloading, come back to old house and do the same things.
We had 5,6 trip with the trailer.
でも、新しい家は物で溢れてる。
Still there are lots of stuff at new house.
前の家もちゃんと掃除しないとボンドが返ってこないからやらないといけないし。
We still have to clean at the old house properly otherwise we can’t get the bond back.
イースターホリデーで本当良かった。
Lucky it was Easter holiday.
連日寝るのは遅かったけど、早起きしてた。
We went to bed late these days but woke up early.
お陰で予定より早く終わりそう。
That’s why we will be moving out more than we think.
ある意味これも早起きは三文の徳。
In a sense this is “Early bird catches the worm.”
moving 引っ越し
前回に続き引っ越しの話。
It’s about moving continued from last one.
前回は、シェアーハウスをどうやって探すかって話でしたが、今回は賃貸契約の場合について。
It was about how to find share house last time but I’ll write about how to get contracts for renting property.
こちらの場合も基本オンラインで行います。
Generally, it is online too.
先ずは、Realestate.com.auにアクセスして
賃貸物件をクリック。
そして、住みたい地域を入力
Then type the area where you want to move.
値段の設定やら部屋数やら色々と設定出来ますが、僕の住んでるところは田舎なので、物件もそんなにないのでパス。しかし、都会の方は物件数も非常に多いので設定した方が楽でしょう。
You can set up the price for your budget or choose the number of rooms or other things but I’ll skip this process because where we live is pretty much country side so there are not much property up here. But if you are looking for property in a city you would set up all the details so you can find property easily.
そして、物件の場所やら色々物色して、良さそうな物件をクリック。色々詳細が出てきますので、それもチェック。
Check the location on map and go through all the property then click the property you like.
Check all the details.
日本では、不動産屋さんが個人別に物件を見せてくれる。オーストラリアでは、日時が決められそこに皆一斉に行く。
In Japan, inspection is done individually.
In Australia, inspection is scheduled for everyone.
物件の下見の日時が出ていれば、実際に物件を見に行くといいでしょう。
写真では、見えないところが見えますし、近所の環境も見えてくるでしょう。
If there is some details for inspection, I recommend to have a look at it. You can see more details where you can’t see on photos.
also you can see in the neighborhood as well.
ただし、下見の時間が決められた日の15分間しかないので、しかも、ほぼ平日。
時間調整のできない方は、直接不動産屋に問い合わせして見てください。
But Inspection is made for only 15min also it’s often week days. If you can’t make it then you have to contact with the agents.
まー僕の経験上全てを把握は出来ないですが、やっぱり下見をしないよりは、した方がいいでしょう。
From my experience, its impossible to see everything at once, but it’s better to have a look at it rather than not to have a look at it.
そして、色々物色してお気に入りの物件が見つかれば見つかれば、いよいよ申し込みです。
After having a look at the properties, if you find your favorite one then you will apply for your property.
申し込み用紙をプリントアウトするか、もしくは、もしあなたがインスペクションに出向けるならば、不動産屋の方に申し込み用紙を貰えるでしょう。
You can print out all the documents if you can access to internet and printer. Or if you are able to go for inspection then you can get application forms from Realestate people.
不動産屋によっては、全てがオンラインで出来るようです。
It’s depends on Realestate but you might be able to apply for your property online.
僕は、出来るだけ申し込み用紙を先に手に入れて、記入も済ませてインスペクションに行きます。
I try to get application form beforehand and fill it up. Then go to inspection.
何故ならば、ここバイロン近郊の賃貸物件の競争率が非常に高い。これは私の推測ですが、オーストラリアの不動産価格が高騰し、都会ではもう家が買えないって言う人が多い。皆家を買うときは少しでもいい家を買いたいので、じゃー同じ値段を払うなら、田舎の方はどうだ？ってなる。なんだ田舎では、同じ値段でもっと大きい家だし、ロケーションも全然いいじゃんってなる。でも、田舎では、仕事が中々見つからない。なので、生活は都会のままで引っ越しをせずに家だけ買って投資しようってなる。オーストラリアの不動産バブルに乗っかってやろうと。なので、改装をする。改装すると最低でも2、3週間かかる訳。その間その家には、人が住めない訳。住める家が一つ減った訳。
更に厄介なのが、いや、やっぱり田舎の方がいいからいっそのこと田舎に住んじゃえって言う人達。彼らは、家を改装してる間も又更に別の家を借りる訳。(大家さんは、家を売却したばかりの人には直ぐ家貸す。何故なら、ある程度まとまったお金を持ってるから。)と言う事は、2つ家が減った訳。でも、やっぱりいいところはいいところで住みたい人はいっぱい来る。
もう需要と供給のバランスがとれてない。
これが、不動産の渋滞を引き起こす。
不動産バブルは弾けたというが、地方がそれを感じのは、少し時差がある。
ここ最近は物件の数も増え、多少安くなった感があるが、やっぱりまだまだ。

なので、少しでも、可能性を広げる意味で出来るだけ早く申し込む。例えば、一つの物件に50人が申し込んだ。大家さんがもし途中でいい人を見つけたら、残りの申し込み書は見ないかもしれない。大家さんによりますが。
So I just want to get more chance,or more possibilities. If 50 people apply for a property,
the land lord might end up looking at application half way because they might find successful applicants in half way. So the land lord may not even look at applications all of them.
It’s depends on the land lord though.
兎に角、出来るだけ好印象の申し込み書を作る事と出来るだけ事はやる。これが成功の秘訣と思う。そして、不動産屋から連絡が来ればめでたく物件ゲットです。
Anyway you just have to lodge a well presented application form and all the things you can do. That’s the trick for successful applicants.
And then if you have a ring from realestate, you win the competition!

オーストラリアの物件探しは、基本的にインターネットで行います。
Generally Searching the property is online.
僕が、オーストラリアに来たばかりの頃は町のどこかにコミュニティインフォメーションボードってのがあって、そこで情報交換していました。
When I first came to Australia, there were a community information board in each town. That’s where we exchange all the information.
でも今はインターネット。
But it’s on internet now.
もし、あなたが不動産屋を使わずに部屋探すなら、ガムツリーとかフェイスブックのローカルサイトがいいでしょう。
If you are looking for a room without realestate,
Gum tree or local community site on Facebook are good,
そして、それぞれの国別情報共有ウェブサイトなどもあります。日本人なら、日豪プレスやらjams.tv やらチアーズ等々。
Also each country has their web site.
for Japanese, Nichigo press, Jamstv or cheers.
それぞれのウェブサイトはそれぞれの都市に特化しているようです。
Each web site is specialized for their city.
日豪プレスは、ブリスベン、ゴールドコーストに強く、jamstvはシドニーで強いようです。

シェアーハウス。
Share house.
シェアーハウスとは、オーナーさんが家の空いてる部屋を貸し出して、それを間借りする事。
The owner rend a room to someone else.
大体、電気水道インターネット代が込み込みで家賃に組み込まれているが、やはり、物件により電気代は別なとこもある。
bills are included most of time but it depends on the property so you might have to pay the bills separately.
オーナーさんが一緒に住んでいないシェアーハウスもあります。
Some times the owner doesn’t live together.
オーナーさんがいない方が自由度が高くすみやすそうです。
You probably feel more free if you live without the owner.
というのも、私の経験上、オーナーさんが一緒に住んでいると何かと気を使ってしまうし、オーナーによっては、あれ手伝ってこれ手伝ってっとなってしまう。
I said that because I experienced that I wasn’t comfortable to live with the owner, then often the owner might ask you something to do.
家賃もどんな部屋を借りるかによりかわります。自分だけの部屋の場所勿論家賃も高くなります。
Price varys too. Depends on what room you get. If you get a your Own room,You will be paying more than share room.
シェアールームであれば、レントも安くなります。
If you share the room, it will be cheaper than own room.
オーナーさんと良く話し合って詳細を探るといいでしょう。良く話合えば、その分気持ちよく生活できるでしょう。
It will be good if you talk with the owner for more details. Better talk with the owner will help comfortable life.
